The Planning and Zoning
Department is responsible for various duties associated with the County's rural
addressing system, including coordinating: address marker assignment; corner
post/street names installations; street re-naming requests; and placement of
address points in the GIS. New E911 addresses for parcels being developed are
assigned by the Planning and Zoning Department. These addresses are also placed
into a digital file that can be used by county staff to help locate properties
when inquiries are received.
The cost associated with a new E911 address is $35. The cost of a replacement
marker is $XX.
